We are located in LIC and seek a friendly, highly motivated, organized, pro-active, creative and self-disciplined individual junior architect with 2- 5 years of practical experience.
- 2-5 years’ experience in high-end residential design and construction.
- Strong Communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent.
- Proficiency in residential construction documents.
- Familiarity with NYS and NYC Building Codes and Building Practices.
- Experience with the coordination of consultants including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Structural engineers as well as lighting designers and other consultants.
- Strong experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Rhino, Enscape, Adobe Suite including Photoshop, In-design and other computer application literacy.
- Oral and written command of the English Language.
- Multi-tasking/time management skills: the ability to work on several projects at the same time in either a management or production role.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Execute projects through all phases of design.
- Actively communicate and collaborate with design and technical leadership.
- Produce high quality drawings in conformance with project time, scope and quality parameters..
- Effectively document designs through Construction Documents, Construction Administration, and final punch list..
Candidates must be eligible to work in the US.
