NDKazalas Architecture P.C is a growing, fast paced architecture firm, headquartered in the Astoria area of Queens.
We are in search to fill an Intermediate Architectural designer position with a talented and enthusiastic individual, to work closely with the principal and firm leaders on variety of projects. Our firms focus is on new construction multi-family residential buildings, of various sizes and scales, as well as, high end interior renovations of apartments and commercial spaces throughout NYC.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have 3 To 6 Years Of Relevant Professional Experience And Most Importantly Be Energetic With a Strong Work Ethic And Have Desire To Grow And Become a Pivotal Member Of The Team. The Ideal Candidate Will Also Be Expected, Within a Reasonable Time, To Demonstrate The Ability To
- Prepare conceptual and schematic design packages.
- Produce construction documents and architectural details.
- Research and apply NYC Building Codes, Zoning Resolution, ADA codes, etc.
- Coordinate with consulting engineers (MEP, Structural, Etc.) and interior designers.
- Review shop drawings and submittals, for conformance to the constructions drawings.
- B.Arch or M.Arch. (B. Arch required)
- At least 3 to 6 years of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in Revit is required, as well as AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with NYC Building Codes and Zoning Resolution
- Strong organization skills with a proficiency in verbal and written communications.
Benefits and salary commensurate to level of experience. Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States and be fluent in English.
