As a Product Designer at Peiko, you'll work closely with our founders and external manufacturing partners to bring new products from sketch to shelf. You'll own the full design process: research, concept development, prototyping, testing, and production handoff.
What you'll do- Lead design development for 2–3 product launches per year
- Create sketches, 3D models, and physical prototypes in our Brooklyn workshop
- Travel to partner workshops in Portugal, Japan, and Vermont for production reviews
- Collaborate with marketing on product storytelling and photography direction
- Contribute to our repair program and circular design initiatives
- 4+ years experience in consumer product design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating material knowledge and form development
- Proficiency in CAD (Solid Works or Fusion 360) and hand sketching
- Experience working with manufacturers and understanding production constraints
- Passion for sustainable design and durable goods
