Intermediate Architectural Designers Needed!
A nationally recognized design practice is seeking an Intermediate Architectural Designer to join its award-winning team in New York City. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to some of the industry's most celebrated luxury hospitality, restaurant, and cultural projects, collaborating with a highly creative and multidisciplinary team from concept through Design Development.
This role is ideal for a designer who is passionate about thoughtful design, enjoys working in a collaborative studio environment, and thrives on bringing ambitious ideas to life through exceptional technical execution.
Responsibilities:- -Contribute to the design and development of luxury hospitality, restaurant, and cultural interior projects from concept through Design Development.
- -Prepare presentation drawings, design studies, and architectural documentation.
- -Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and 3D models that clearly communicate design intent.
- -Collaborate closely with senior designers, architects, consultants, and project teams throughout the design process.
- -Participate in material research, space planning, and design coordination.
- -Assist in producing high-quality drawing packages while maintaining exceptional design standards.
- -Coordinate with consultants to ensure seamless project execution and documentation.
- -4–8 years of professional architectural experience.
- -Experience working on hospitality, restaurant, cultural, or high-end commercial interior projects.
- -Strong design sensibility with the ability to translate conceptual ideas into buildable architectural solutions.
- -Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino is required.
- -Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch Up, Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion, or similar visualization software is highly desirable.
- -Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
- -Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, design-focused studio.
- -Competitive base salary of $90,000–$110,000
