New York City-based and award-winning interior design studio, Whitehall Interiors, is seeking an Interior Architect. We are seeking candidates that are pro-active, creative and organized.
About the RoleThe role involves technical expertise, and project management. Candidates will be working under the supervision of a Design Director / Project Manager, and will work closely with a team of interior designers, production/documentation, various industry vendors, consultants on projects spanning multi-family, hospitality, and residential. The ideal candidate will show a transversal expertise and combine creativity, technical knowledge.
Responsibilities- Assist Project Managers on projects including architectural/interior drafting, detail production, project documentation and coordination
- Work efficiently on multiple projects, work within project budgets and schedules, and is experienced with value engineering solution processes.
- 4-year Bachelor Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
- 4+ years post-graduate experience with at least 2 completed residential projects.
- Proficient in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator), Auto Cad, Lumion, and Enscape.
- Strong understanding in x-refs and layers
- Understanding of ADA and NYC Building codes, specifically multi-family building interiors, residential and amenity kitchens, and bathrooms/restrooms.
- A keen sense of interior millwork, metal/glass and stone detailing as it relates to maintaining the design intent as well is required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
