We are looking for a Sr. UX Designer to envision and execute designs for AI‑assisted shopping experiences, with a focus on LLM‑powered conversational CXs. They design intuitive and delightful ways for the customers to discover, compare, purchase, and keep track of products from the marketplace. This role requires the flexibility to deliver both near‑term solutions and future‑facing design direction for CXs with little precedent, and the logical reasoning skills to grasp the complexities of natural language understanding, machine learning, and large language models.

This is a forward and fast thinking team who are customer obsessed and actively think big around improving the core shopping and conversational experiences. We come together each week to align on priorities, learnings, and discuss new opportunities to help drive us forward. We create space for innovation through crits and design studio sessions, collaborating with partners to push boundaries and explore bold ideas.

Rate: $50-55/hr

• Delivers solutions for complex design and technical problems for which the product strategy may not be defined.
• Refines and defines design patterns, standards, methods, and/or processes, helping to drive adoption of these across teams. They share this knowledge effectively with peers and stakeholders to drive cross‑team alignment.
• Makes recommendations to partner teams and senior leaders on org goals and design strategy.
• Provides solutions that demonstrate knowledge of the capabilities and constraints of the technology stack; their solutions demonstrate high‑judgement trade‑off decisions.
• Aligns with partner teams to identify what research matters to inform design solutions at the product level.

• 8+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience
• Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end‑to‑end, user‑centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices
• Experience with design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and prototyping in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax
• Bachelor's degree in design, human‑computer interaction (HCI), a related field.

• Experience with UX design of complex workflows
• Knowledge of usability principles and techniques
• Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design
• Self‑motivated team player, with refined and assertive leadership skills
