M Moser Associates New York is hiring a Senior Project Architect / Senior Architectural Designer who specializes in workplace interior projects.

At M Moser Associates, the Senior Project Architect — Corporate Interiors captains the job as early as the client interview, working closely with designers throughout test fit, schematic, design development, and construction administration to ensure design integrity is maintained at every stage. This is a pivotal role for the successful integration of highly technical design work . You are the person who holds the big picture and the fine detail at the same time, who thinks about constructability while the design is still moving, and who makes sure that what gets built is exactly what was intended.

As the project moves into Construction Administration, your role ramps up. You are responsible for bringing together multiple disciplines — MEP, structural, specialty consultants, and internal teams — ensuring their work is fully integrated and coordinated against the design intent. Quality control is central: you are the person who makes sure the design is buildable, the documents are airtight, and the project meets program, code, and agency compliance requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work in tandem with project leadership to create and communicate clear and attainable project criteria and objectives
• Partner with leadership during project pursuits and client pitches, contributing technical due diligence including site assessment, base building review, and knowledge of comparable construction to inform scope, feasibility, and approach
• Lead a team of architects and interior designers to develop client solutions and solve complex problems
• Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to share design and construction expertise in order to create inventive, well-crafted environments
• Ensure projects conform to program and contract requirements
• Brainstorm with in-house strategic planners to consider new solutions that address cultural opportunities in each project
• Translate programmatic opportunities into unique concepts for architecture and interior design
• Assist in preparation of project proposals, schedules, contracts, fees, and work authorizations
• Mentor and coach junior designers for enhanced teamwork and skill-building
