The ideal candidate has strong pattern and garment-construction knowledge, is confident participating in fit sessions, and thrives in a fast-paced, fashion-forward environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Participate in fit sessions and capture detailed fit comments, measurements, and construction notes in real time.
- Evaluate garment fit and balance on live models or forms, clearly communicating pattern and construction adjustments.
- Update and maintain detailed tech packs, including measurements, construction details, BOMs, and specifications.
- Partner with Pattern making and Product Development to ensure pattern changes align with fit direction and brand standards.
- Review prototypes and SMS samples for construction quality, stitch details, finishing, and consistency with approved specifications.
- Communicate fit and construction updates clearly and accurately across internal teams.
- Troubleshoot construction and pattern issues to improve fit, consistency, and cost efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of patterns, including pattern shapes, grading, fit implications, and alterations.
- Experience capturing and organizing fit comments and notes during fittings.
- Solid denim garment-construction knowledge, including seams, finishes, and stitch types.
