Stefanini is looking for a Handbag / Soft Accessories Designer in New York, NY

Work Location: 285 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10017

• The designer will be supporting the THNA Accessories team, working on Handbags and Soft Accessories (socks, hats, scarves, cold weather accessories) for Outlet and Off-Price.
• The Ideal candidate will be a team player, detail oriented, proactive, organized and ability to multitask and work in a face paced environment. In NYC office Monday-Thursday, WFH Friday but need flexibility to come in if necessary.

• Adobe Illustrator sketches and color ups
• Pitch/Scale artwork for soft accessories
• Update previous styles/technical specs for new season
• Make cad/art updates for proto samples and make sample comments in PLM.
• BOM updates in PLM considerations.

Requirements:

• 3-4 years fashion design experience. Accessories preferred, open to Apparel.
• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Fashion Design
• Must have design experience and an inherent understanding of the design process
• Must have proficient knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Web PLM (Centric PLM preferred)
• Strong organization, communication and time-management skills
• Works both collaboratively and independently environment.
