Designer - Girls

Our client, an apparel company, is looking for a Senior Designer for their Girls Design team to join them in NYC!

• Develop seasonal design concepts, mood boards, color palettes, and trend direction for girls’ apparel.
• Design and create CADs, prints, graphics, and technical sketches for fashion-forward girls’ collections.
• Research trends, fabrics, trims, and silhouettes to create age-appropriate, commercially relevant product.
• Collaborate with merchandising, technical design, and production teams to ensure designs meet fit, quality, and cost requirements.
• Manage the design process from concept through sample development, providing clear direction and refining product based on feedback.

• Degree in Apparel, Fashion Design, or equivalent industry experience.
• 2+ years of experience in apparel design and product development, with demonstrated ownership of categories or seasonal collections.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and strong technical sketching skills.
• Deep understanding of garment construction, fabrication, and production processes.
• Proven ability to lead projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a high level of professionalism.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and confidently.
