Intermediate Architect for Elizabeth Roberts Architects
Brooklyn-based Architecture and Interior Design firm is seeking an Intermediate Architect with 6+ years’ experience to join our team of architects and interior designers.
Responsibilities- Assisting in development of designs
- Assisting in communication with clients
- Assisting in communication and coordination with project consultants
- Preparation of presentations for clients
- Responsible for drafting / detailing drawing sets for construction
- Responsible for drafting drawing sets for Dept of Building and Landmarks filings
- Assisting in the implementation of local codes, rules, and regulations
- Assisting with bidding of projects / coordination with bidders
- Assisting with construction administration duties
- Attending OAC meetings during Construction Administration
- 6+ years’ experience
- Minimum education:
Bachelor of Architecture - Experience in architectural drafting and detailing
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Proficient in Rhino modeling and CS Suite
- AutoCAD for MAC knowledge, a plus
- Ability to hand sketch, a plus
- Experience with wood frame construction
- Experience working on high-end, single-family residential projects
- Experience with NYC Dept of Building and Landmarks filing drawings, a plus
This is a full-time, in-person opportunity including benefits.
Depending on skill level and experience, the annual salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000.
