DESIGNER Bridgehampton, NY

BMA Architects is a collaborative design studio specializing in luxury modern residential work. From New York to California, from the beach to the mountains, we create highly personalized homes that function as individual retreats.

We’re currently seeking a Designer with 1-3 years of experience to join our Bridgehampton studio.

We create modern architecture as a respite from the demands of modern life, and our studio & design process focus on extensive research, collaboration, support, curiosity, and trust from project inception through closeout.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior staff, the firm’s partners, and your respective project teams to develop and carry out the design intent of projects from schematic design to construction administration.

Successful candidates must be highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with a passion for architecture.

• 1-3 years of professional experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
• Strong design, graphic, and organizational skills
• Working knowledge / professional experience in construction documents, detailing, digital modeling, and graphics
• Working knowledge of building codes, standards & construction
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, energetic, with exceptional design, graphic, communication, and organizational skills
• Computer skills preferably include Sketchup, Midjourney, D5, Revit, AutoCAD and the Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to work independently & collaboratively in our studio with clients, consultants, vendors, etc.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and have the willingness to relocate or commute to Bridgehampton, NY.
