This is a position to assist VP of design in development of the line.
Assist in every aspect of design process from creating proto to showroom samples, and organizing and prepping a showroom for the market.
Create tech packages including embellishment layouts, print placement, etc.
Job Requirements:- Working knowledge of the apparel design, garment construction and development process
- Must have experience with creating detailed tech pack development for overseas factories and spec knowledge using Excel
- Must have experiences with creating digital layouts for Embellishment & Prints using Photoshop & Illustrator
- Must be very detail oriented and organized
- Efficient in sketching by hand and on a computer
- 2+ years of experience as a designer
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design
- Experience in dresses is a plus.
Hourly Rate: $20–$25 per hour, based on experience.
