- Supports sourcing and selection of decorative items
- Visit showrooms to find appropriate samples for projects
- Visit vendors to monitor progress on furniture fabrication and/or antique refurbishment
- Track decorative items from point of purchase through delivery
- Support and assists with inspiration boards that illustrate design concepts
- Partner with architects and Interior Design Manager on store layouts
- Archive decorative materials and maintain project records/specs
- Support and assist with new store decorative installations and renovations
- Maintain project interior design budgets
Salary range: $62,000 - $90,000 annually.
- Education/Degree in interior design or related field
- Preferred 1-3 years’ experience in interior design and/or store development, preferably in retail industry or high-end residential
- Highly organized and proactive individual, capable of multi-tasking within a fast-paced environment
- Able to read and understand architectural/construction drawings and sketch/diagram space plans and fixture layouts
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- AutoCAD and/or Sketch Up proficiency a plus
- Ability to source and select decorative items
- Budget tracking and project management skills
