Manager, Product Design

• Lead Partner Experiences in the Global Payment Network
• Co-create innovative solutions to complex problems and influence product strategy
• Apply interaction, visual, and service design expertise with cross-functional partners
• Select and use appropriate tools, platforms, frameworks, and design systems
• Create artifacts including journey maps, blueprints, high-fidelity designs, and prototypes
• Lead design projects, direct and delegate work for junior team members, and mentor designers
• Mature the overall product design practice at Capital One
• Navigate partner and stakeholder needs using data, research insights, scalability, and technology constraints
• Apply customer, competitor, and market insights to business challenges
• Use knowledge of technology, data capabilities, and emerging technologies to inform solutions
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and drive product strategy
• Present work to senior stakeholders to influence strategic decisions

• At least 5 years of experience in a Product Design role
• At least 5 years of experience in design and prototyping tools such as Figma
• Strong portfolio demonstrating leadership, process, results, and impact
• Experience with and contribution to an established design system
• Experience collaborating with product, technology, and business partners
• Experience leading design projects or teams
• Experience working in heavily regulated, data-heavy problem spaces
• Must not require new employment authorization sponsorship from Capital One

Demonstrates expertise in Product Design, utilizing design and prototyping tools like Figma to create high-fidelity designs and prototypes. Proven ability to lead design projects, mentor team members, and influence product strategy through collaboration with cross-functional partners.
