Sweet Apparel Inc. is a fast-paced apparel manufacturer specializing in quick turn production for juniors, women’s, men’s, and kids’ clothing. The company is recognized for high standards in design, quality, and timely delivery to retail partners and brands. Teams collaborate closely across design, production, and operations to bring fashion-forward products to market efficiently. We are growing and seeking an Associate Designer with Athleisure experience!
Key Responsibilities- Support the Head Designer in the design and development of seasonal collections for the brand
- Research and identify emerging fashion trends, colors, fabrics, silhouettes, and market opportunities relevant to the contemporary market
- Create sketches, technical flats, color-ups, and presentation materials
- Assist in developing seasonal concepts and ensuring design consistency across categories
- Partner with Product Development and Merchandising teams throughout the design and production process
- Review samples and prototypes, providing comments to ensure design intent and quality standards are met
- Maintain organized design files, line sheets, and seasonal development materials
- Participate in fittings and support design revisions as needed
- Monitor competitive brands and market trends within the athleisure space
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
- 2 - 5 years of apparel design experience, preferably within wholesale with an emphasis on athleisure
- Strong understanding of fast fashion trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent sketching, presentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute design direction effectively
