** About the Job
** We currently have an exciting opportunity for Design Associate, Woven and Shoes to join our menswear fashion design team. This individual will possesses specialized knowledge in the fields of men’s fashion, design, merchandising, and technical design. The Design Associate helps facilitate the realization of the design team’s concepts and requires theoretically and practically applying knowledge of menswear design to work as part of the design team in creating concepts and pushing forth new designs, fabrications and colors for each season's collections.
** What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities*
* · Conduct market research to identify key silhouettes, fabrics, colors, and seasonal initiatives relative to our customers
· Adhere to seasonal time and action calendars. Work collaboratively with cross functional partners to provide resolution where possible and elevate any issues
· Approve lab dips and other development items. Work collaboratively with fabric and trim department to provide feedback and clear and concise direction to execute accurately
· Define product details (main materials, trims, and details) that align with the design roadmap
· Collaborate with cross functional teams including product development, fabric and trim, technical design, production and buying team to create synergy and smooth operations across departments
· Create, submit and update tech packs
· Assist Design Director in seasonal brand development and presentations to provide support and track necessary adjustments and updates required
