Interior Designer

Job Summary (Interior Designer Infra Hire, New York City, NY)

• Collaborate on design programming, concept, and schematic development for multifamily and commercial interiors.
• Transition designs from concept to detailed documentation and execution.
• Prepare and coordinate complete interior drawing sets (plans, elevations, details, schedules).
• Support projects through design development, documentation, and construction administration phases.
• Coordinate FF&E, finishes, millwork, lighting, plumbing fixtures, hardware, and specialty components.
• Review and process shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs; assist with site visits and resolve field issues.
• Work closely with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Assist with material selection, specification, pricing review, and value engineering.
• Maintain design intent while balancing budget, constructability, and scheduling requirements.
• Manage multiple projects and meet competing deadlines.
• Contribute to a variety of workplace and commercial interior project types.
• Support and improve digital tools, documentation, and production standards (Revit, visualization, etc.).
• Explore and implement new technologies to enhance design and project delivery workflows.
• Requires 4 7 years of relevant experience and a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Cloud;
  Revit proficiency preferred;
  Rhino and rendering tools a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills required.
