Architectural Designer

Neumann & Rudy Architecture () is an award-winning New York City architecture and design studio with over 30 years of experience creating distinctive retail, hospitality, and residential environments for national and international clients.

We are seeking an Architectural Designer with 2–6 years of professional experience to join our NYC studio.

At , designers are actively involved in our projects and work alongside our principals and project teams from early concept and visualization through detailing, construction documents, and construction. We are looking for someone who is curious, creative, technically capable, takes initiative, and is eager to contribute at every stage of a project.

Our studio culture is collaborative and hands-on. We value people who contribute ideas, ask questions, explore materials and details, and enjoy working closely with others. We believe working together in person is an important part of that process, and this position requires a minimum of three days per week in our New York City studio.

What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have:2–6 years of professional architecture or interior architecture experience

• A strong design sensibility and attention to detail
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong 3D modeling and rendering skills
• Experience preparing construction documents
• An interest in architectural detailing, materials, and how projects are built
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work collaboratively and contribute to project discussions
• Authorization to work in the United States

Experience with high-end retail, hospitality, or residential projects is a plus, as are strong freehand sketching skills.

Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $60,000–$80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, plus a generous benefits package including employer-sponsored health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and support for professional development and licensure.
