Location: New York
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM ET
Work Arrangement: 100% in-office, 5 days per week
Salary:
Up to $75,000 base
A growing apparel company is looking for an experienced Technical Designer / Product Development professional to join the team immediately. This person will work closely with the existing product development team and help manage the technical side of the product development process as business volume continues to grow.
Responsibilities- Create and maintain detailed tech packs for apparel products
- Develop and review product specifications and measurements
- Provide detailed comments and feedback to factories throughout the development process
- Communicate with factories regarding fit, construction, measurements, and revisions
- Work closely with design and product development teams to ensure products meet specifications
- Use Adobe Photoshop regularly for product development and technical needs
- Review samples and identify necessary changes or corrections
- Manage multiple styles and development timelines simultaneously
- 2+ years of experience in apparel technical design, product development, or a similar role
- Strong experience creating and managing tech packs
- Experience with specs, measurements, and factory comments
- Strong understanding of apparel construction and development
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage a high volume of styles and deadlines
- Must be comfortable working 5 days per week in a NYC office
- Must be available 9:00 AM-6:00 PM ET
