New York-based Interior Design Firm seeks a mid-level Interior Designer to join their team. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of residential and commercial interior design experience and the ability to balance thoughtful creative direction with strong project management skills. An appreciation for classic design with a modern sensibility is essential. In this firm, Interior Designers lead projects from concept through to installation, managing design development, client presentations, procurement, construction administration, and final installation.
Compensation Range:
Salary commensurate with experience.
- Associate's Degree or Higher in Interior Design or Architecture
- 5+ years of professional experience at a residential interior design firm
- AutoCAD
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Sketch Up
- Studio Designer
- Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
- Strong project management skills
- Extensive knowledge of residential trade and antique resources
- Ability to mentor and supervise junior team members
- Team player, comfortable wearing many hats in a fast-paced boutique environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel domestically
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
