Position Overview
Our client is a boutique interior design practice focused on corporate workplace environments
. The firm works with businesses, tenants, property owners, and other stakeholders to transform commercial spaces into functional, efficient, and visually compelling workplaces.
They are seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer with approximately 3-5+ years of professional experience
, particularly within corporate office and workplace design.
The ideal candidate combines strong creative skills with technical production abilities and is comfortable taking projects from early concepts through documentation and implementation.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts for corporate office and workplace environments.
• Create efficient and functional space plans based on client requirements.
• Design and plan workstations, private offices, conference rooms, collaboration spaces, reception areas, and executive environments.
• Prepare detailed construction and design documentation for contractor use.
• Develop furniture layouts, specifications, and related documentation.
• Research and select appropriate interior finishes, materials, and furnishings.
• Prepare client presentations and visual materials to communicate design concepts.
• Participate in client meetings and confidently present design recommendations.
• Conduct site visits, field measurements, and existing-condition surveys.
• Identify and resolve field conditions and coordinate design adjustments as required.
• Coordinate furniture selections, specifications, vendors, and purchasing activities.
• Work closely with clients, contractors, landlords, furniture dealers, and project stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with other designers and project team members throughout the design and construction process.

• 3-5+ years of professional interior design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating corporate office or workplace interior projects.
• Proven experience with commercial office space planning.
• Experience developing construction documents and furniture plans.
• Knowledge of interior finish selection and specifications.
• Experience creating professional client presentations.
• Strong client-facing and presentation skills.
• Experience conducting site surveys and field measurements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working within a fast-paced interior design, architecture, or design consulting environment.
