Senior Technical Designer - Nippies

Nippies is the category-defining brand behind the modern nipple cover and bra-alternative space. We operate as an omni-channel business, with a premium line (Nippies, ) and a mass-market line (Nips by Nippies) sold at Target and Walmart, alongside a significant Amazon business and long-standing wholesale and retail relationships. We're growing fast across every channel, and we're building out a broader assortment of bra-alternative solutions for women who want comfort, support, and coverage without a traditional bra.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who wants to shape the next generation of that assortment.

We're looking for a Senior Technical Designer to lead product development on new bra-alternative solutions across both the Nippies and Nips by Nippies lines. You'll own the technical process from initial concept through bulk production, translating design ideas into accurate, buildable specs and tech packs, and making sure everything we ship fits and performs the way it should. This is a senior, largely autonomous role: you'll set technical standards for a still-emerging product category, not just execute against an established one.

• Own technical design end to end for new product development, from first sketch through bulk approval, across both Nippies and Nips by Nippies
• Build and maintain detailed tech packs, including construction specs, measurements, grading, and bill of materials, for adhesive and non-adhesive bra-alternative products
• Lead fittings on live models and forms, identify fit issues, and translate feedback into clear, actionable pattern corrections
• Partner closely with design and factories (domestic and overseas) to develop and refine patterns for new silhouettes, including new adhesive, wireless, and hybrid support constructions
• Review and approve fit samples, PP samples, and TOP samples against brand standards before they move to production
• Evaluate and select fabrics, adhesives, and trims for comfort, skin safety, durability, and cost, and troubleshoot material issues as they come up
• Manage grading and size-range consistency across a wide range of body types and cup sizes
• Track development calendars and keep every style moving on schedule across multiple factories and SKUs
• Bring an informed point of view on where the bra-alternative category is heading, and help shape which new products we build next
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members or outside contractors as the team grows

• 7+ years of technical design experience in intimate apparel, bras, or bra alternatives; direct experience with adhesive or wireless support products is a strong plus
• Deep knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, grading, and fit standards specific to the bust and chest area
• Proven experience building and managing tech packs from concept through bulk production
• Comfortable leading fit sessions and giving direct, precise feedback to designers and factories
• Proficiency with Illustrator and standard technical design tools (Gerber, Optitex, or similar); PLM experience a plus
• Experience working with overseas factories and navigating the realities of production timelines and MOQs
• A genuine interest in innovation within the bra-alternative space, and the curiosity to test new materials and constructions
• Strong communicator who can work cross-functionally with design, production, and leadership without a lot of hand-holding
• Comfortable operating in a small, fast-moving team where you'll wear more than one hat
