Compensation: $75K - $85K annually
A leading mid-sized architectural firm with offices in the New York City area and Florida is seeking a detail-oriented Revit Support Professional to join its IT department. This person will bring expertise in BIM standards, user support, workflow optimization, and architectural documentation, playing a key role in improving project delivery through efficient BIM processes.
What you'll do- Troubleshoot Revit environments and resolve model performance and software issues
- Develop and maintain office BIM standards, templates, families, and libraries
- Train staff with varying technical skill levels and lead workshops or lunch-and-learns
- Manage BIM execution plans and standardize workflows across project teams
- Support interoperability between Revit and tools such as CAD, IFC, Navisworks, and Rhino
- Maintain work sharing, central models, and cloud collaboration practices
- Provide efficient ticketing/help-desk style support and prioritize multiple requests under deadlines
- Apply QA/QC procedures and industry standards to ensure model accuracy
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and consultants, translating technical concepts into practical guidance
- BA or BS in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Engineering, or Interior Design
- 3 to 5 years of experience supporting BIM in a medium to large sized firm
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit
- Strong understanding of BIM workflows and standards
- Knowledge of architectural documentation and construction processes
- Experience creating and maintaining Revit families, templates, and libraries
- Familiarity with interoperability tools (CAD, IFC, Navisworks, Rhino, etc.)
- Understanding of work sharing, central models, and cloud collaboration
- Awareness of industry standards and QA/QC procedures
- Ability to manage BIM execution plans and office standards
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
- Strong documentation and workflow organization skills
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight as well as collaboratively within a team
- Experience in architecture, interior design, or a related industry is a plus
- Knowledge of Dynamo scripting and automation is a plus
- Working knowledge of AI is a plus
- Annual salary range: $75K - $85K
