Assistant Designer

S. Rothschild & Co (Tommy Hilfiger Dress division) is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Assistant Designer to join our design team. This role will support the design department in the development of seasonal collections and daily operations.

• Create detailed design worksheets in Adobe Illustrator for overseas factories.
• Coordinate with factories to prepare showroom samples.
• Assist design team with all stages of the design process.
• Take notes during fittings and other development and design meetings
• Assisting designer with organizing/making line sheets.
• Update tech packs and maintain accurate WIP charts

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in fashion design, preferably in dresses.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of garment construction and pattern making.
• Highly organized and adaptable, able to pivot tasks quickly as needed.
• Excellent communication skills; a team player who works well with both design and production teams.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Salary: $55,000 - $65,000, commensurate with experience
