Position Overview

Premium children's brand is seeking a freelance Associate Designer to support the design team in a fast-paced, apparel-focused environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, efficient designer with strong Adobe Illustrator skills and practical apparel design experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design team with apparel design, development, and production-ready artwork.
• Create and revise technical flats, line sheets, colorways, and presentation materials in Adobe Illustrator.
• Assist with seasonal product development from concept through final execution.
• Organize design files, artwork revisions, and product information accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to meet development timelines.
• Manage multiple priorities and complete design updates quickly in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of overall design experience, preferably within apparel.
• Demonstrated apparel design experience, including familiarity with garment construction and product development workflows.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is required.
• Ability to work quickly, take direction, and produce accurate work under tight timelines.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working collaboratively in an in-office setting.

Work Arrangement: This freelance role requires in-office availability Monday through Thursday for approximately 32 hours per week.
