Emergency Medicine Physician; Per Diem

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a per diem Emergency Medicine Physician to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health.

NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health (2601 Ocean Parkway, Brooklyn, NY 11235) accommodates more than 250,000 outpatient visits and more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine.

• Modern, fully renovated Emergency Department within the new Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital building (opened 2023)
• Designated Level II Trauma Center with over 90,000 annual ED visits
• Comprehensive on‑site services including advanced imaging, trauma surgery, neurology, cardiology, and ICU support
• Strong culture of collaboration between Emergency Medicine, nursing, and consulting services
• Flexible schedule available

• Graduate of an accredited Medical School
• Completion of an ABMS‑approved Emergency Medicine residency training program
• Board certified or the ability to become board certified within 5 years of hire
• Active, unrestricted NYS license
• Experience attending to an underserved population preferred

Per Diem Rate: $186.84 per hour
