Overview
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai’s Affiliation with New York City Health + Hospitals | Queens serving culturally diverse communities in Queens, New York, seeks a physician leader to join our team at Queens as the Chief of Anesthesiology.
Responsibilities- The Chief will be responsible for the administration, planning, organizing and overall general management of the Anesthesia department.
- Provide services to patients of all ages, with possible multiple diseases, trauma, pregnancy or other complications.
- MD or DO degree and board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) with a valid New York State license, DEA and Medicaid number.
- Strong clinical abilities, teaching experience, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior management/leadership positions and experience with academic medical centers and/or public health systems are preferred.
We also offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications.
