Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Radiologists to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the James J. Peters VA Medical Center located at 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, NY 10468. Shift scheduling is generally Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm including call and weekends. Full-time and Locum Tenens positions with generous compensation packages are available.

Responsibilities
  • Provide general and interventional radiology procedures including but not limited to:
    Diagnostic Radiology, Ultrasound, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine (Nuc Med), Interventional Radiology (IR)
  • Provide consultation with and instruction to referring physicians regarding appropriate indications for radiologic procedures to ensure the most expeditious and clinically appropriate work-up
  • Determine the appropriate course of treatment and communicate with referring clinicians in person or by phone
  • Review consults/orders and next-day patient cases for at least two hours daily
  • Provide post-procedure evaluation, follow-up, and clinical consultation regarding complications of interventional radiologic procedures
  • Follow all established medication policies and procedures; no sample medications shall be provided to patients
  • Provide discharge education and follow-up instructions coordinated with the next care setting for all emergency department patients
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and meetings as required by facility leadership
Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
  • Active, full, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or District of Columbia
  • NPI report printout
  • Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Active DEA license
  • Ability to pass a federal background investigation
Physical and Other Requirements
  • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during work shifts
  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
  • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
