Pediatric Radiology Faculty Position
The Department of Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine is accepting applications for a full‑time faculty position, at the rank of Assistant Professor or above, in the Division of Pediatric Radiology; salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applicants must have an M.D. degree or equivalent and hold board certification in Radiology. Candidate must be pediatric CAQ certified or eligible.
The responsibilities of this position include strong interpretative skills in pediatric body imaging in all modalities (plain films, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT and MRI) including advanced applications. We value strong clinical and interpersonal skills, interest in interdisciplinary collaboration, and a track record of teamwork. The candidate will also participate in the education of residents, fellows, medical students, research and other scholarly activities.
The Division of Pediatric Radiology provides inpatient and outpatient clinical imaging services to patients at numerous New York‑Presbyterian Hospital locations across NYC, including at Weill Cornell Medicine (NYP/WCM), Komansky Children’s Hospital—a top‑ranked children’s hospital in the New York metropolitan area according to U.S. News & World Report rankings, and Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns. Pediatric imaging services are also provided to patients at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital (NYP/BMH), NYP Lower Manhattan Hospital (NYP/LMH), Weill Cornell Imaging at New York‑Presbyterian and affiliates.

New York‑Presbyterian Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns is a state‑of‑the‑art facility dedicated to providing exceptional, individualized care to pregnant women and their newborn babies.
The 60‑bed neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)—the new hospital’s Level IV NICU—is the first in New York City that has a dedicated MRI and fluoroscopy/operating room located within the NICU.
The WCM Department of Radiology provides excellence in patient care and research while emphasizing a culture of collegiality, wellness, work‑life balance, and flexible scheduling.
Salary ranges between $275,000 - $550,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The salary range is provided in compliance with New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements, excluding bonuses, clinical incentive compensation, or benefits. Actual salaries consider factors such as internal equity, specialty, training, and hospital/community needs. Weill Cornell Medicine's salary range for New York City‑based roles reflects our good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting.
