We are seeking a Physician with a full or limited license to provide support for the Medicine Inpatient Units.
Opportunity Details:
- Provide clinical care in an inpatient setting including patient examination, recommendations for and/or interpretation of appropriate routine diagnostic tests
- Perform inpatient rounds, collect data and write pertinent progress and discharge notes on charts
- Request consults and follow‑up as needed
- Inform the supervising physician of all changes in the patient's condition and pertinent diagnostic results
- Counsel patients regarding physical and mental health
- Develop management plans in accordance with established protocols in conjunction with the attending physician
- Current valid New York State Limited or Unrestricted License
- National Provider Identification (NPI) Number
- Graduation from an accredited medical school in the United States or graduation from an international medical school and successful performance on United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) or its equivalent
- Participation in at least one year of ACGME or AOA accredited residency training program(s)
- Proven ability to work in a team environment
- Previous experience working with an under‑served patient population is a plus!
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $135,000
* based on 40‑hour work week.
Annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $148,500
** which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below.
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
- Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
