Overview
The Cardiothoracic Surgery Service Line at Northwell Health is seeking a full-time Nocturnist to join our team in the Cardiothoracic Surgery ICU at Lenox Hill Hospital. Candidates must be fellowship trained, and Board Certified in Critical Care. Primary board certifications can include Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, or General Surgery. Candidates graduating from their sub-specialty training will also be considered depending upon experience during fellowship training.
The ideal candidate should also carry exceptional inter-personal skills with a goal of sharing a vision of unparalleled delivery of care through teamwork, collaboration, innovation, and persistence for excellence.
Lenox Hill Hospital is a 450-bed, acute care facility on Manhattan's Upper East Side with a 12-bed CT ICU. Our cardiac surgical team performs surgeries including but not limited to all open cardiac procedures, transcatheter-based therapies and advanced heart failure management including ECMO. Our cardiac surgery program consistently receives the highest quality ratings from the NYS Department of Health and the Society for Thoracic Surgeons.
