About the Role:
  • Location:

    New Haven, CT
  • Cardiology Physician
  • Hours/call: 40 hours per week position. Call would be one week a month.
  • Main types of procedures or patients seen: TEE, ECHO s, Nuc TST, TST, calcium scoring, See patients for A fib, CHF, pots, etc hypertension, hypotension, SOB, etc .
  • Average # of patients seen per day: 20 patients per day.
  • Team size: 3 MD s and 2 NPs
  • Develops a plan of care for each patient, including medical history, physical examination, diagnosis and appropriate treatment and/or referral, including hospitalization if necessary
  • Uses all available resources in diagnosis and treatment, such as laboratory and others tests in an appropriate and cost efficient manner
  • Provide care for heart-related needs. We treat all forms of heart disease, including congestive heart failure, arrhythmia and heart valve disease.
  • Heart monitoring and cardiac testing to diagnose heart disease.
  • This role has the opportunity for Academic responsibilities. The practice is closely affiliated with the Yale School of Medicine
Background:
  • Board Eligible / Board Certified - Cardiology
  • Able to hold a Connecticut state medical license
