Physician Assistant I – Hospital-Based Urology Services - NYP/Queens Hospital

Through primary care and multispecialty medical practices, the physicians and other health care professionals of NYPMG, in collaboration with Columbia Doctors and Weill Cornell Physicians, provide families with high quality, patient-centered care close to home in the New York metropolitan area.

To provide complete surgical care of the urology and general urology patients in the inpatient settings, support the clinical, educational and fiscal objectives of the Division of Urology. This is a 3/12.5-hour per week, hospital-based night position with rotating weekends and holidays located at: 56-45 Main St, Queens, NY 11355.

• Provide complete surgical care for urology and general urology patients in inpatient settings.
• Support the clinical, educational, and fiscal objectives of the Division of Urology.

• At least one year of Physician Assistant experience.
• Experience working in a surgical health care setting.
• DEA

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies
• Current New York State PA licensure
• Current NCCPA certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• BLS, ACLS
