Job SummaryThe Department of Otolaryngology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking an hourly/per diem On-Calling Attending Otolaryngologist, Clinical Assistant Professor (HS). The successful candidate will:
- Provide call coverage weekdays and weekends.
- Coordinate Residence and Medical students in the field Otolaryngology and sub-specialties.
- Serve on institutional councils and committees and other assignments as directed by Department Chair.
- Participate as a member of the Department Executive Committee.
- Attend required departmental conferences.
- Conduct research that leads to publication and presentation.
- Assist with department Q&A programs.
- Participate with other department physicians in night call at all affiliated Hospitals.
- New York State Medical Doctor Licensure.
- Medical Doctor Degree and graduate of an ACGME-accredited Residency Program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Otolaryngologist.
