New York-Presbyterian Medical Group is looking for a BC/BE physician who is fellowship trained in both Palliative Medicine and Geriatrics to join our team at New York-Presbyterian/Queens in Flushing, New York.
Palliative Care Physician
, you aren’t just managing symptoms; you're transforming lives by providing compassionate care across the continuum. This well-established multi-disciplinary team consists of palliative medicine trained physicians, social workers, a nurse practitioner and a nurse coordinator. Benefit from a robust interdisciplinary collaboration in a supportive, forward-thinking environment. You will provide specialty palliative and hospice care across a variety of settings: inpatient service, outpatient clinics, and community-based hospice care.
Working closely with oncology, pulmonary, and other specialties to deliver integrated, patient-centered care and contribute to our expanding outpatient program that serves patients across a broad medical spectrum.
The salary range for this position is $225k to $270k. This compensation range does not include our amazing benefits and any incentive payments, based on quality measures and productivity, that may be applicable to this role.
The selected candidate will hold an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College. Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and credentials.
Responsibilities- Provide specialty palliative and hospice care in inpatient, outpatient, and community-based settings.
- Collaborate closely with oncology, pulmonary, and other medical specialties to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.
- BC/BE physician with fellowship training in both Palliative Medicine and Geriatrics.
