Job Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of training) - Required
* Prefer Pulm/Crit Care training, would consider internal medicine with critical care experience
* Must have active NY license and DEA - Highly Preferred

BLS and ACLS - Required Invasive and non-invasive ventilation experience - Required, please note experience at the time of name clear

Services include a full pulmonary function laboratory which enables us to offer a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic tools that were previously available only at a hospital. This provides the patient with a convenient choice of facilities and allows our physicians faster access to information needed in the care of their patients.

We also offer spirometry, chest X-ray, ECG, oximetry, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), as well as services for sleep disorders.

This practice is accepting new patients.

Job Description:

Samaritan Hospital is looking for 2-3 ICU Critical Care Intensivists to start 7 on/ 7off ASAP and is expected to be long term coverage. Will accept locum, locum to perm, and perm candidates!
* Great community hospital, supportive environment, 2 Hospitalists in-house 8p-8a for support, 1st shift will shadow a provider for full orientation to job role/expectations!

* Schedule:

7 on / 7 off, nights only 7p-7a. Would prefer to do 2 providers 7 on/7 off. Reason for Coverage:
Transitioning from hospitalist managed to intensivist managed ICU model, increased patient acuity Trauma Level: Community based hospital Total number of beds: 300 in the hospital Total number if ICU beds: 28 Patient Census:
