The Ideal Candidate :

Experience:

A minimum of two to four years of gynecologic surgery experience. Diagnostic

Skills:

Ability to diagnose and treat a wide variety of gynecologic conditions and improve patient outcomes, including endometriosis, leiomyomas, and adnexal masses. Surgical Expertise:
Must be able to prevent, recognize, and manage potential surgical complications derived from gynecologic surgeries.

Skills:

Excellent communication skills. Interest in Population Health Management:
Display an interest in population health management. Essential Procedures and Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Patient Evaluation:
Collect and record patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results. Maintain complete and accurate medical records. Review patients history and perform a physical examination. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of gynecologic conditions. Provide preventive care. Surgical Procedures:
Perform hysterectomies and myomectomies for benign conditions, open and minimally invasive. Diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy. Diagnostic and operative laparoscopy. Diagnostic cystoscopy. Endometrial ablation. In-office procedures (including but not limited to LEEP, colposcopy, hysteroscopy/endometrial biopsy, vulvar biopsy, pessary care). Effective Communication:
Communicate effectively and cordially with the clinical team to ensure total delivery of quality care. Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings.

Education & Experience:

Degree:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or foreign equivalent. Residency:
Completion of four-year postgraduate medical training from an accredited residency program in the area of practice. Must have training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Certification:
Board Eligible/Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Fellow American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). Robotic certification strongly preferred.

Experience:

Open to both experienced and newly trained providers. License:
Must possess a current, unrestricted New York State license. Registration:
Must possess active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration. Enrollment:
Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll. Certification: BLS or ACLS certification required but both strongly preferred. Communication

Skills:

Must possess strong communication skills, both oral and written. Technology Comfort:
Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system (EPIC preferred) and Microsoft Office. Medical Office Hours of Operation:
