The Division of Infectious Diseases at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo (UB), invites applications for a full-time Academic Scholar at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Rank will be commensurate with experience. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to our mission of excellence in patient care, education, and research across our major affiliated teaching hospitals and ambulatory care settings.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Provide expert care as an attending physician for inpatient and outpatient infectious disease services, including consultations and follow-up care.
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in clinical and academic settings.
- Supervise and train infectious disease fellows, fostering their professional development.
- Engage in clinical and/or translational research, with institutional support for scholarly activities.

Minimum Qualifications- MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York.
- Possession of a current and unrestricted DEA certificate.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis at the time of application.
