Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Trauma Surgeon to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln
. Lincoln Medical Center is a designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties, including its award-winning Cancer and Breast Centers. Opportunity Details
  • Perform advanced and highly specialized surgical procedures in acute care, general surgery, and trauma surgery, including surgical critical care.
  • Provide trauma call coverage and contribute to the SICU, Trauma, and Acute Surgery services, while maintaining a general surgery elective practice.
  • Supervise, teach, and mentor house staff, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and medical students as part of a collaborative surgical team.
  • Participate in weekly staff conferences.
  • Support the maintenance and improvement of clinical performance standards for physicians and other professional staff within the service.
  • In house call coverage required; hours may vary each week.
