Location: New York
Position Overview
Seeking a BC Psychiatrist to start Early Fall 2024 in a Hybrid role in the NYC Metro area.
Key Responsibilities and Clinical Focus- Provide quality patient care, clinical supervision, and multi‑disciplinary collaboration.
- Foster a care philosophy that considers biological, psychological, and environmental factors in treating mental disorders through Psychotherapy & Psychopharmacology practices.
- Possess proven experience or has a strong desire to provide clinical supervision amongst an interdisciplinary team.
- The Psychiatrist will see new patients, perform clinical evaluations, foster long‑lasting therapeutic relationships with patients, provide medication checks, collaborate with clinical leadership, and supervise clinical staff.
- The individual will initially see patients (weekly target of 50) as they acclimate to our practice, anticipating supervisory responsibilities over 3‑6 months of starting based on business needs.
- 70% Direct clinical care with adherence to our comprehensive practice model.
- 20% Team oversight and administrative tasks:
- 1:1 meetings, department & company‑wide meetings; provide support to supervises.
- Additional administrative duties include reviewing discharge summaries, cosigning notes, and signing prior authorization.
- 10% Notes, collateral contact, and administrative work related to patient care.
- Work Schedule:
Flexible to your preference.
- Earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited school with successful completion of a Psychiatry residency program.
- Active state license and DEA in one of these states: NY, NJ, CT, FL, MA.
- 4+ years of post‑residency clinical work experience in Psychiatry.
- Past supervisory experience preferred, or interest to grow into supervising responsibilities.
- Proven experience and desire to support Psychotherapy treatment.
- Psychotherapy Modality experience (CBT, DBT, etc.).
- Telehealth/telemedicine experience.
