Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a House Physician - Surgery to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health
. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state‑of‑the‑art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services from primary and preventive care, to specialty services for children and adults, all designed to keep our community healthy. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

• Primarily responsible for surgical assist in the Operating Room with a surgical robot.
• Perform inpatient rounds, collect data, and write pertinent progress notes on charts.
• Provide clinical care in an outpatient setting including patient examination, recommendations for and/or interpretation of appropriate routine diagnostic tests.
• Inform the supervising physician of all changes in the patient's condition and pertinent diagnostic results.
• Counsel patients regarding physical and mental health.
• Develop management plans in accordance with established protocols in conjunction with the attending physician.

• Current valid New York State Limited or Unrestricted License
• National Provider Identification (NPI) Number
• Graduation from an accredited medical school in the United States or graduation from an international medical school and successful performance on United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) or its equivalent
• Participation in at least one year of ACGME or AOA accredited residency training program(s)
• Proven ability to work in a team environment

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $135,000
* based on 40-hour work week.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $148,500**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:
