Location: New York
Division of General Pediatrics – Junior Faculty – Child Abuse Pediatrics
The Division of General Pediatrics at Cohen Children’s Medical Center and the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is recruiting a junior faculty member to join the section of Child Abuse Pediatrics. The position is located at the Queens Child Advocacy Center and offers wide flexibility for teaching, scholarly activity, and research with a strong group of education- and research-engaged colleagues.
Responsibilities- Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations for suspected abuse and neglect.
- Collaborate with the Queens Child Advocacy Center and related community resources.
- Participate in teaching and mentorship of pediatric residents and medical students.
- Engage in research, scholarship, and quality improvement projects within child abuse pediatrics.
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in child abuse pediatrics.
- Demonstrated commitment to pediatric patient care and professional development.
- Experience in clinical education and research is preferred.
