Location: New York
A well-established and quickly growing health system in New York is excited to welcome a new Stroke Medical Director to their Long Island, New York locations. They are also excited to welcome a new, system-wide Cognitive Neurology Director, who will be based in either the Manhattan or Long Island location.
About the Stroke Director Opportunity –- At least 5+ years of experience
- Reports directly to Neurology Service Line Director
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish credibility quickly, build rapport, and easily interact with clinical and administrative leadership, as well as physicians and staff throughout the system
- Academic appointment with local, affiliated medical school

- 738-Bed Hospital
- Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Level I Trauma Center
- Dedicated Neuro-critical Care Unit
- Comprehensive Epilepsy Center
- Neurology Residency Program + Neuro-focused fellowship programs
- Eligible Candidates Should have 5-10 years of experience
- Reports directly to Dr. Souhel Najjar (Neurology Service Line Director)
- Join established group of 2 Cognitive Neurologists, 2 Neuropsychologists, 1.5 APCs, and 1 Secretary/Coordinator
- Clinical vs. Administrative breakdown of 80-90%/20-20%
- Position based in Manhattan or Long Island
