NYU Grossman School of Medicine announces its search for a Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative Care & Pain Medicine. We are seeking a visionary, dynamic and creative physician, or physician scientist, with a distinguished record of clinical achievements, who can lead a next-generation Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative Care & Pain Medicine. The selected Chair should have the ability to foster collaborations, and promote innovation and creativity.
The successful candidate should have demonstrated leadership in a university, medical center or research institute setting.

Base salary ranges between $800,000-$1,300,000 and is commensurate with qualifications and experience. NYU offers a generous benefits package.
Responsibilities- Lead and advance the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative Care & Pain Medicine in clinical care, education, research, and administration.
- Foster collaborations and promote innovation and creativity across NYU’s schools and affiliated centers.
- Demonstrate leadership in a university, medical center or research institute setting.
- Visionary, dynamic and creative physician or physician scientist with a distinguished record of clinical achievement.
- Ability to foster collaborations and drive innovation.
- Proven leadership experience in a university, medical center or research institute setting.
