We are currently looking for a Neurologist to help care for our fast growing roster of patients. We are looking for someone who is highly trained in Neurology. The Neurologist must be able to diagnose, treat and perform necessary services for all patients with injuries and pain related diagnosis. While working alongside many other physicians, surgeons, specialists, PA’s and talented staff, the ideal candidate will hold a vital role in providing the necessary medical services to our community.

Our new Neurologists would be responsible for providing care to existing patients as well as new patients. We are looking for someone who has a sincere passion for providing the appropriate health services and giving the best care possible. Please read below for the qualifications that we are looking for.

• Provide inpatient and outpatient neurology services within a large, integrated health network.
• Diagnose and manage a full spectrum of neurological disorders, including headaches and traumatic brain injuries.
• Collaborate closely with neuropsychology and rehab services.
• Access to state-of-the-art imaging, EEG & EMG, concussion and whiplash injuries.
• Document all patient evaluations, treatments, medications and transactions according to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure patients understand their diagnosis and receive relevant information.
• Prescribing relevant medications to help with patient’s pain, injury and regaining functionality.
• Instructing patients on proper exercise techniques, healthy nutritional behaviors and give adequate advice and support to patient as needed.
• Administer injections to a patient’s pain areas to help relieve pain and restore function.
• Must be open-minded when discussing various treatment option for patient, ensuring all options are taken into consideration.
• Must be able to consultant and communicate with other physicians, specialist, and other medical professionals to optimize a patient’s treatment.
• Monitor patients progress during and after treatments.
• Perform other related duties.

• Medical Degree from an Accredited University
• New York Medical License
• Active and unrestricted DEA License
• Must have 3+ Years of experience
• Previous work experience in work and motor vehicle related injuries (Preferred)
• NYS Workers Compensation Authorized with active WCB Number
• Knowledge of No Fault and NYS Worker Compensation Laws and Regulation
• Must be willing to travel within NYC to Citi Med Locations
