Position Overview
One of our Partners in upstate New York is seeking an Interventional Pain Medicine Physician (Neurology) to provide outpatient procedural pain management coverage.
This assignment focuses on ambulatory clinic and interventional pain procedures performed in a dedicated procedural environment with clinical support staff onsite.
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
8 hours per day
Office phone call only after hours and weekends
Epic EMR
Float between ambulatory clinic and procedural suite when needed
Provider Pay Range: $255-$265/hr (Top 10% Locum Interventional Pain Medicine Market - 2026 data).
Estimated weekly earnings $10,400+, with total contract earnings exceeding $270,000 depending on schedule continuity.

Stable 5-day weekday schedule
Evaluate and treat ambulatory pain management patients
Perform outpatient interventional procedures
Manage consultations and follow-up visits
Provide limited after-hours phone call coverage
Collaborate with clinic staff and procedural team
Required procedures include:
Epidural Steroid Injections (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar)
Medial Branch Blocks
Radio frequency Ablation
Sacroiliac Joint Injections
Trigger Point Injections
Genicular Nerve Blocks
Genicular RFA
Intercostal Nerve Blocks
Piriformis Injections
Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials
Minimum Experience:
1-2 years post fellowship
Clinic Hours
Monday - Friday
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Typical workflow:
Morning clinic and procedures
Midday break around 12-1
Afternoon clinic and procedures
Office call only
Evenings and weekends
