Position: Assistant/Associate Professor of Medicine of the CUMC
Location: New York

Columbia University Irving Medical Center's Department of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, seeks an outstanding clinician-educator to join our faculty as an Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine. We invite applications from board-certified rheumatologists with a clinical and academic interest in osteoporosis management, arthritis, and metabolic bone disease.

Responsibilities:

* Provide comprehensive care for patients with osteoporosis, inflammatory arthritis, and related conditions in both ambulatory and infusion settings.

* Lead or participate in the development of a dedicated Osteoporosis Clinic within the Division of Rheumatology, in collaboration with Endocrinology and Radiology.

* Interpret and integrate bone density (DEXA) results into individualized patient care plans.

* Contribute to the teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows.

* Engage in scholarly and quality-improvement initiatives that promote evidence-based fracture prevention and population health.

* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across Columbia University Irving Medical Center and New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

* MD or equivalent medical degree.

* Board certification in Internal Medicine.

* Board eligibility or certification in Rheumatology.

* Eligible for medical licensure in New York State.

* Demonstrated expertise or focused interest in osteoporosis and arthritis management.

* Commitment to teaching, clinical innovation, and patient-centered care.
