** Physician Assistant-Thoracic Surgery Service– Day Shifts
- Columbia Campus

Asa Thoracic Surgery PA, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of residents and surgeons covering this busy surgical service. Thereare opportunities to grow, teach, and have significant autonomy. The position primarily consists of post-operative management of patients on the step down unit and floor.  In this role, PAs serve as the front line providers rounding with attending surgeons, writing notes, orders, and performing necessary bedside procedures.

Thispositionconsistsof (4)10-hour shifts/week, some weekend day shifts, nocallorholiday coverage.
** Preferred Criteria
* ** Background in Surgery and/or Medicine
* Atleast1yearof experience
* Strong new graduates with a demonstrated passionforsurgeryarealso encouraged to apply
** Required Criteria
*** Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies
* NYS licensure and NCCPA certification
