Are you a dedicated and results-oriented physician seeking a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care to hospitalized patients during the night shift? We are excited to invite qualified candidates to join our established hospital medicine program located near Warnerville, NY.

What You'll Do:

• Manage the care of adult inpatients across various medical conditions, focusing on diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care during evening and overnight hours.
• Collaborate effectively with a team of physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations at night, order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, addressing questions and concerns with empathy and clarity, even during potentially more challenging nighttime situations.
• Document medical histories, progress notes, and other clinical information accurately and thoroughly.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a patient-centered care environment specifically tailored to the night shift.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Eligible for New York State licensure and a DEA registration.
